(Melville, NY) - The American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) has awarded H2M Labs with the Seal of Excellence Award for the 8^th consecutive year. Twenty-eight (28) laboratories from across the nation received awards this year; H2M Labs was the only Long Island laboratory so recognized.  H2M Labs also received Special Recognition Awards that were presented to the Top Ten Laboratories in the categories identified.  "It is very rewarding to be recognized for excellence by our clients and ACIL", said Joann M  Slavin, Senior Vice President  and Laboratory Manager for H2M Labs.  The "Timeliness" and "Overall Customer Satisfaction" recognitions are based upon the responses from the client surveys.

The Seal of Excellence program was developed in 1996 to address the industry's need to improve its focus on quality issues and recognize those laboratories with exemplary quality performance.
