As air quality programs have been implemented on both the state and federal level, there has been an increased demand for laboratories to offer EPA Method TO-15 "Compendium of Methods for the Determination of Toxic Organic Compounds in Ambient Air." The method documents sampling and analytical procedures for the quantification of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) included in HAPs listed in Title III of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. Per the method, specially prepared stainless steel canisters are used for either grab sampling or time-integrated sampling with pneumatic flow controllers and analysis is performed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
At H2M Labs, we are constantly increasing our inventory of canisters and flow controllers to provide our clients with the sampling equipment needed for TO-15 sampling. Our experienced staff is skilled in the proper techniques for preparing, cleaning, and certifying canisters.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art canister system, H2M Labs offers the following:
H2M Labs has been analyzing air samples using various media for over 20 years, including sorbent tube, VOST tube, ORBO tube, Tedlar bag, PUF, and canister. See our test list for the full scope of air analysis available at H2M Labs.
